Renee A. Simon is a Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist, writer, and seminar
leader who specializes in nutrition, exercise, and the mind/body connection. She is
President of her own company, Total Wellness, focusing on helping her clients achieve
optimal health. She is also a consultant with The Center for Health & Healing which is owned
by Northern Westchester Hospital, Mount Kisco, New York.
Ms. Simon received her M.S. in Clinical Nutrition from Bridgeport University and her degree
in Holistic Nutrition at the American Academy of Nutrition. She is a licensed
Dietitian-Nutritionist and a member of the American College of Nutrition. She also is a
certified DAN (Defeat Autism Now) practitioner and holds a post-graduate degree at the
Designs for Health Institute in nutritional pharmacology.
Ms. Simon has served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Westchester & Norwalk Community Colleges and
has lectured and published articles regionally and nationally on a variety of health related
topics. She was recently interviewed by Businessweek magazine, the New York Times, and by
nutrition guru Gary Null, for a documentary on autism.
Ms. Simon is available to individuals seeking nutritional support for maximum health and
vitality, as well as to those seeking therapeutic nutritional counseling for specific health
concerns. In her consultations, she helps each client integrate a full wellness program that
may include dietary modifications, an exercise program, food supplements, herbal remedies
and stress management techniques. She specializes in all aspects of women and children’s
health including infertility, weight loss, hormonal imbalances, and the perimenopause
through menopause transition, digestive disorders, ADD/HD, autistic spectrum disorders and
learning disabilities.
